.Military Trained Have Missionary Advantage!   .A BETTER WAY...

Christian families are needed to serve as missionaries throughout the world.
A missionary is a leader in his community. There is no organization on earth more focused on creating and developing leaders than the US Military. You have been instilled with the very ideals that are critical to a successful missionary family. Missionary families demonstrate integrity in their actions. They exemplify strength in their convictions. They model a loving relationship with their families. They share the Gospel as a byproduct of their work in the community. They seek opportunities to help those around them. They use their talents and abilities to make a difference where they serve. Cast out of your mind the traditional stereotype of a missionary as a weak, pacifistic, reserved, timid and ineffective alien visitor to another culture. Missionaries make a difference where they serve. They create opportunity for economic growth and cultural development. They help to create a secure living environment for the families in their region. They share in the joys and the sadness within their communities. And they demonstrate that God is authentic, that Scripture is authoritative, and that Christ does make a difference.

How The Master’s Mission Can Help
Identifying, training and preparing families to become effective missionaries can be a difficult task for the Church leadership, but it is the key to developing successful missionary families.

The Master's Mission operates an eleven-month training program designed to prepare missionary families for the challenges of remote and urban missionary service worldwide. Recent statistics report that 60 percent of those who go out to serve in the mission field return for potentially preventable reasons. Further, this number is increasing over the past 20 years. Many of these "failures" have resulted because the missionary family was not prepared to handle the most basic elements of life abroad. TMM addresses that issue head-on with training that will prepare the family to overcome difficulties and be effective examples and teachers of Scripture. 75 percent of the missionaries trained at TMM are still successfully serving in the field - and a whopping 98 percent are still qualified and active in other ministries. If you have a desire to explore serving as a missionary, The Master's Mission is your next step.

The supreme mission of the Church is to glorify God and to preach the Gospel and make disciples throughout the world. The local Church is the most effective agency to accomplish this mission and to send and support missionaries. Church leadership can identify and prepare families who are motivated to invest their lives in people of another culture.

Why military families? Why me? For over twenty-five years now seasoned missionaries at The Master’s Mission have been investing their lives in training the next generation of missionaries. During this time, it has become evident that the qualities making an outstanding soldier also make an excellent missionary. Commitment, faith, duty, integrity, leadership, selfless, loyal, discipline, brave, a heart committed to the mission at whatever the cost. The soldier tested and found faithful in these things, may possess the leadership qualities demanded by the Word of God to take the message of Christ to the ends of the earth (Titus 1; 1 Timothy 3).

Are you that leader? Are you ready to complete the mission?
